Council to Modernize Governance

We believe that the federal government must work to deliver better outcomes for the American people. We want each citizen to have the freedom and opportunity to realize their full potential. To do so, our government must facilitate our freedom and success, not serve as an anchor. All of the actions of the federal bureaucracy must reflect the reality that they only exist to serve the American people. As such, their actions must begin with the presumption that the American people are wise and good, not presume that they are a threat or an inconvenience. The Council to Modernize Governance was formed to educate the public on the need for the bureaucracy to be accountable to the American people and inform government officials of common-sense ways to improve outcomes and reduce unneeded regulatory burdens that do not improve lives.

Rather, the wind itself—the very thing the blade was designed to harness—broke the blade.
